Meet Dr. Nathani

My Story

My journey into functional chiropractic didn’t start in medical school — it started with my own body. As a teenager, I struggled with digestive issues and irregular periods that were treated as separate problems. When I was prescribed birth control for PCOS, I had a severe reaction that left me without safe options and without answers.

That experience was frustrating, isolating, and disheartening. But it also sparked a search for something different.

Through functional medicine, I discovered how my digestion and hormones were deeply connected. By healing my gut and restoring balance, my cycles regulated naturally. The biggest gift came when I was able to conceive both of my children without difficulty — something that once felt impossible.

Functional medicine didn’t just give me back my health. It gave me a deeper understanding of the human body, and a calling to help others who feel unheard or overlooked.

How I Practice Today

What makes me passionate about this work is connection. I believe your symptoms are not random — they are signals pointing us to something deeper. And I believe every story matters, because it’s through your story that the root cause becomes clear.

When I sit with patients, my focus is not on rushing to a prescription or a quick fix. It’s about slowing down, listening, and putting the pieces together in a way that makes sense of what you’ve been experiencing. Healing, to me, is about more than lab results or diagnoses — it’s about restoring balance in your body, mind, and life.

My Education

  • National University of Health Sciences, Doctorate of Chiropractic
  • University of Bridgeport, Masters of Science in Clinical Nutrition
  • International Academy of Medical Acupuncture, Fellowship
  • The Institute of Functional Medicine, FMCP completed

Beyond the Practice

Outside of my role as a doctor, I’m first and foremost a wife and mother. My husband and I are raising two wonderful boys, and much of our family time is spent courtside at basketball games or supporting them in their school activities.

A fun fact about me — I actually learned to swim as an adult, with the encouragement (and patience!) of my husband and kids. It’s one of my favorite reminders that growth and learning never stop, no matter your age.

I also love traveling and experiencing new cultures. Whether it’s exploring local traditions, trying new foods, or meeting people with different perspectives, travel inspires me and deepens the way I understand health, connection, and resilience.

Creativity plays a big role in my life too. I enjoy photography, calligraphy, and arts and crafts — activities that allow me to slow down, notice the details, and express myself in new ways. And at the heart of everything I do, whether in medicine or in life, is a passion for learning. I’m endlessly curious and believe that curiosity is one of the most powerful tools for growth and healing.
